Caroline Beasley-Baker works in a broad range of genres and media. She has done large-scale installation projects for Creative Time (New York City), The Everson Museum (Syracuse, NY), Connecticut State University. Her dance environments done in collaboration with choreographer Bebe Miller were presented at the Joyce Theater, Danspace and 92nd Street Y/Harkness Dance Series in New York City and at the Kennedy Center and the Boston Ballet as well as other venues in the US and Europe. In May 08, a poem and photo will appear in the literary magazine The MOM Egg and, later this year, 2 *Hay(Na)Ku Chains* done in collaboration with poet/writer Holly Anderson and singer/songwriter Lisa. B. Burns will be published by Meritage Press.

She has received grants from the National Endowment for the Arts, the New York Foundation for the Arts, the New York State Council for the Arts, the Ford Foundation, and Artists Space. In 2004, the Jerome Lawrence and Robert E. Lee Theatre Research Institute at Ohio State University collected her dance environments and drawings for their Performing Arts Archives.

Ms. Beasley-Baker received an MFA from Syracuse University where she was a graduate fellow. She was additionally awarded a Fellowship Abroad for one year of work and study in London. Prior to her MFA she completed 2 years of graduate work in Myth & Folklore at the Center for the Study of Popular Culture, Bowling Green, OH.
