Dance Environments:
I began my first collaboration with the choreographer Bebe Miller in 1990 with the support of a New York Foundation for the Arts Fellowship in Painting. I was using theatrical light in my installation work and wanted to further explore light and paint in a theater setting. The jumps in color shown in these photos demonstrate a surface painted for heightened shifts in color in response to light. CLICK to view.
